A stereoview is a pair of images of the same subject taken from slightly different viewpoints, arranged side by side and intended to be viewed in a stereoscope.

The term stereoview encompasses both the pair of images and the material on which they are printed, such as paper or glass. The terms stereoview and stereograph are often used interchangeably, but stereograph refers only to the pair of images and not to the material on which they are printed or mounted.

Stereoviews can be classified based on transparency, the support material used as the image carrier, and the photographic process employed.
