The Motoscope is an album stereoscope that was distributed by D. Appleton & Company. The viewer is mentioned in an insert accompanying The Stereoscope for the Million, but no example has so far been seen. The Motoscope appears to have been capable of simulating movement. The insert states:

Push the wire at the right of the Stereoscope back and forth at the speed of about once every two seconds, when the figures will be seen in motion.
