The Stereoscope for the Million is an album stereoscope based on Mascher's Stereoscopic Book. The viewer contains a reference to Mascher's viewing case patent of 1853.
The Stereoscope for the Million was manufactured and distributed by D. Appleton & Company and contains 12 bound pages with stereoviews. At least four different series were issued. An identical viewer with views from Europe was distributed under the name The Voyage to Europe.
