Gartner patent

Charles A. Gartner patented a design for a pedestal Holmes-Bates stereoscope. The holder of the instrument accommodates multiple stereoviews. Gartner's stereoscope is largely made of metal and therefore shares similarities with comparable stereoscopes manufactured by Lewis Pattberg & Brothers.
