Over-under stereoscope
Tag: GlossaryAn over-under stereoscope is a viewer in which the two images that form a stereo pair are positioned one above the other rather than in the more common side-by-side arrangement. The advantage of this configuration is that it allows the use of wider images. Over-under stereoscopes are rare. A known example is Duboscq's Bioscope.
