Bidirectional navigation

Tags: Glossary / Stereoscope component

Bidirectional navigation is the functionality of a multi-view stereoscope that allows stereoviews to be advanced in both directions. Most chain-based stereoscopes provide this capability by turning the control knob clockwise or counter-clockwise. In tray-based stereoscopes, bidirectional navigation is not present on all models.
