The term Stereo-graphoscope is an unofficial designation for a graphoscope extended with stereo lenses. Hawley C. White implemented this concept in the Holmes-Bates stereoscope, and this viewer was in fact marketed under the name The Stereo-Graphoscope. With its two prism lenses, the device could be used to view stereoviews. By rotating both lenses through 180 degrees, the instrument became suitable for viewing ordinary photographs.
White probably manufactured the viewer exclusively for the Sears Roebuck Company.
