Stéréo-Classeur is the French name for tray-based stereoscopes equipped with a cabinet for storing slide trays. The name was first used by Jules Richard. He introduced in 1900 a stereoscope with the name Stéréo Classeur, which was the direct predecessor of the Taxiphote.
