The Rotoscope Folding Stereoscopic Apparatus was distributed by the Rotary Photographic Company, a subsidiary company of the German N.P.G. The Rotoscope was a clone of N.P.G.'s Stereoskop Apparat.
The viewer can accommodate stereoviews in various formats. When folded, it has the appearance of a book. A smaller Pocket Rotoscope also exists, intended exclusively for 3 x 7 stereoviews.
