Kalloscope (Richard)
Region: France Period: 1890–1930 Tag: RichardThe Kalloscope incorporates a mechanism that improves the viewing experience of a chain-based stereoscope. In conventional chain-based models, the rotating movement is visible when the user turns the knob to select the images. In the Kalloscope, the entire chain with image holders is lowered out of the observer’s field of vision when the knob is turned, preventing the movement from being seen.
