The Kalloscop is a coin-operated stereoscope with a robust oak construction. The instrument is attributed to Polyphon Musikwerke, which also produced coin-operated mechanical music boxes. The front panel provides space for a simple set of instructions. Kalloscop viewers with instructions in different languages are known, which indicates that the device achieved international success.
