Stereo-panorama camera
Tag: GlossaryA stereo-panorama camera was capable of producing both stereo photographs and photographs in a panoramic format. The wide support of the stereo negative (glass plate or film) was intended to record the two images forming a stereo pair side by side. The width of the negative carrier also made it possible to record a single panoramic image. Several manufacturers in France produced cameras designed to accommodate both types of photography. To create a panoramic image, only one lens was used, while the second lens was covered with its lens cap.
