The designation LZ 126 refers to an airship built in Germany that entered service in the United States in 1924. The compact aluminium stereoscope resembles other viewers produced by Bayerischen Stereobildwerke, but the frame carries the name LZ 126. The stereoscope was produced for a special series of stereoviews depicting the LZ 126 airship.
