Henri Noé was a French stereoscope manufacturer. He patented a design for a folding stereoscope in 1857. The initial patent was followed by four extensions, the last of which dates to 1865. A monogram with “N. H.” appears on some folding viewers and likely represents the reversed initials of Noé.
