Ferdinand Isidore Drier was a manufacturer of optical instruments. His company was established around 1855. In addition to a workshop in Paris, he operated a factory near Saint-Mihiel in the Meuse department. In 1856, Drier patented a stereoscope design featuring elliptical lenses. In 1858, he introduced the Stéréoscope Polychromatique. Drier's company went bankrupt in 1862.
