Le Multiphote is a variant of Le Minimus. The stereoscope employs the same operating mechanism but is equipped with a slide tray that facilitates the loading of the glass stereoviews. As a result, the viewer is slightly larger than Le Minimus.

Operation:
When the lid at the top is removed, the slide tray can be placed onto the upper section of the viewer. This box is fitted with a base plate that can be withdrawn. By pulling out this base plate, the slides are released into the upper compartment of the viewer. The box is then positioned in the lower compartment of the housing to collect the viewed slides. The viewing process itself is identical to that of Le Minimus.
